Hey Friends! You might not recognize us, but rest assured, we haven't change that much!
Well, the little in the hat has certainly changed. Everything about her is changing daily. Her expression, her look, her words, her sassiness, her attachment to people and me, her quirkiness, her ability to believe......it all amazes me with each new day!
Forgive me while I re-acclimate myself with this "blogger" world! No, seriously. I feel as though I got up to fetch another can of diet coke, and when I returned, I found myself in some movie like Back to the Future. How on earth has it really been 2 months since I've updated? I did say I would never ever let time lapse again. Didn't I? The crazy thing is that blogging is my number one outlet. My open book.... if you will. Giving that up kinda shuts me up, right?! So, why I have not been able to come and tap keys here is still kind of a mystery to me! So much to do....so little time?! I don't know but I do know that I've missed blogging about some VERY important milestones that I need to share! The list is long but I'll let you dedicated, sweet peeps (since they are still sitting perched on my local Target shelf at 50% off) in on a few of the upcoming items of documentation! Here goes......
1. Half Marathon at Disney (remember the one Mo decided to sit out?) and my birthday!

I'm going back. Back for many reasons. I've missed sharing so many fun things with you and want you to be a part of us again. Going back.....a long long time to tell a story...... 17 years ago. Going back to the root of happiness. Going back to what I've been through and my life over the past year. Going back to the world of pediatric cancer and the tests of our Good Lord. Going back to acknowledge a choice I made years ago that directed my path in life. Going back......because we all should!

Just know, there is happiness in my heart and a little pep in my step! Sometimes amazing to see life unfold......! Can't wait to share more! B is with John this weekend and I'll have a weekend off for the first time in a very loooong time. Expect round two soon! Very, very soon! Until then friends....

Let me start by saying, I am totally blown away by you. Your passion for life and outlook on things is very inspiring. You are a beautiful person inside and out and long for the day when I am not a "pancake fairy" on the weekends. Let me also say, if anyone needs the recipes for the pancakes I became famous for,blueberry,ricotta,lemon pancakes, let me know and i will send it to you. There was also mention of some recipes on Bunko night, and although Lindsay made all the dishes to perfection, I was able to help her with the recipes. So, if this is gonna make this,(and by this, I mean Lindsay is dating a pancake fairy)more fun, I will remain the fairy until further notice and keep posting recipes that hopefully will inspire you to look at food in a different way. It also gets the kids in the kitchen!!

If there was ever a time for me,the pancake fairy, to start living and stop dreaming it is now. I know you dont know me, but I needed to get that off my chest. I am a dreamer who needs to get my livin on! I have a whole new leash on life and my perspective has changed in so many ways thanks to bama!
Easy strawberry banana pancakes:
1. One packet of strawberry cheesecake muffin mix
2.1/2 cup pancake mix
3. banana diced
4. little vinilla,and cinnamon
5. cup of milk
mix a little, not to much,over mixing is not good for pancakes.
get the griddle good and hot,flip when they are bubbly,flop them on the plate after a couple minutes
serve with syrup of make a strawberry syrup with strawberry preserves,water,lemon and sugar.
